#EUnite is a movement towards boosting innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in healthcare systems across Europe. Built on values of collaboration and sustainability, our vision is to see the healthcare sector undergo a transformation into an innovative ecosystem which harnesses the power of data and digital to produce needed solutions. We believe there are three keys to unlocking this resilient and thriving future: sustainability, digital solutions, and innovation.

The three sessions are:

  • Session 1 Sustainable Visions for Health and Wealth (Tuesday, 28 June 2021, 9.00 to 10.00 CET)
  • Session 2 Harnessing the power of AI and big data for the future (Wednesday, 30 June 2021, 9.00 to 10.00 CET)
  • Session 3 Innovating for a healthcare ecosystem (Thursday, 1 July 2021 9.00 to 10.00 CET)

Session 1 will consider the healthcare ecosystem’s role in driving the future of Europe, diving into the potential of sustainable health investments as a driver of growth, innovation, wealth and employment, while outlining how we can balance competitiveness and enterprise needs with access, availability, and affordability of health technologies and services.

Session 2 will discuss how we can facilitate the digital transformation of healthcare and will look at the transformation to a sustainable healthcare ecosystem. Digital transformation is based on human centred design, cutting-edge technology and internal and external strategies for change. To bring these three elements together, multidisciplinary collaboration will be required to help facilitate and accelerate the digital transformation.

Session 3, the final #EUnite Week session will look at innovation enablers and the potential of a cluster’s approach to supporting Europe’s healthcare ecosystem that will emerge more resilient and thriving than ever following the pandemic. A thriving ecosystem provides a healthy environment in which different entities and stakeholders can find each other and the resources needed to explore and engage in transformative innovation. This is particularly true for the healthcare and life sciences industries, which are already harnessing innovation ecosystems across the care continuum.
