INOMED’s Response to the CALL FOR EVIDENCE on a European Cardiovascular Health Plan

INOMED responded to the European Commission’s Call for Evidence on a European Cardiovascular Health Plan in 2025. Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death in the European Union, responsible for 1.7 million deaths annually and causing enormous economic losses. To change this reality, Europe needs a coordinated, equity-driven, citizen-centred approach. In this official response, we highlighted how lessons from EU-funded projects we coordinate or participate to as partners - such as PERFECTO - FH and FH-EARLY (cardiology), and 4P-CAN Project, ECHoS Project , CURTAIN Project, ReThink HPVaccination, EU-CiP: The EU Cancer Information Portal Project, MAYA Project, GUIDE.MRD (cancer) – can be directly transferred to cardiovascular prevention, screening, and care.
